happy 12th birthday Collin!

yep, it's true... we now have a pre-teen in the house!  I have to admit, I'm freaking a little.  I now have a handsome young man, who's nearly as tall as me.  Dan & I work every day trying to guide Collin in the right direction, to be polite, caring & to work as hard as you can to achieve what you want.  Collin, you're sensitive, sweet & you're constantly trying to improve upon yourself as a person.  I love that, even though you might fight us on certain matters {which has been a lot lately}, when we explain to you why things are the way they are & why we may put our foot down, you eventually come around after putting more thought into it.  You try your hardest to be a good brother, even though sometimes they make it hard, you always have a good heart.  I hope you continue to work on you, what you want & where you want to go... after all, that's a great way to become a great guy :)  I compiled a few layouts of Collin I have done of pictures from the last year...

releases today & a little suprise...

I've made an exciting addition to the pink trike creative team with Shannon Dombkowski!  Shannon has been rockin' my socks off with her creations not only with my kits, but everyone elses too!  I was so thrilled she said "yes" when I asked her if she'd be part of my team :)  welcome Shannon!  Here's a little about this fabulous young lady...

I'm a Marine Corps wife and stay at home mom to two energetic little girls. We live in southern California, but Massachusetts is our true home. I've been scrapbooking for just over 4 years, but I just made the switch to digital in November 2010. I can't imagine ever going back - digital and I just click so well! I spend my days exercising, scrapping, photographing, pinterest-ing, facebooking, tweeting and taking care of all motherly and householdly duties. I also enjoy reading, watching old sitcom reruns, HGTV, Food Network and any reality tv that deals with singing.

again this week I have a paper kit that started with a color palette inspiration... I've found several lately that I've been crazy about & love putting them to work with some great fun & simple patterns!  So this week is sunkissed... reminds me of summer in full swing :)
