tgif. that means new release day at P&co! I have a special set of kits ready for you today. Thinking ahead to Mother's Day coming up this Sunday, I decided to create a kit that reminded me of my late Grandma Lucille {my mom's mom}. Although she passed away when I was young, I still remember days at her house fondly. Usually baking or shelling pecans or putting together puzzles. Or maybe riding my bike around her awesome driveway that had that cool bump to jump the bike on. Smelling the flowers in her garden. Riding with her in her huge boat of a car. Or roller skating in her basement :) So many great memories. I hope you all remember your grandma as fondly. So this one's for you grandma... I hope I did you proud.

We've been enjoying the spring weather that's finally made it's way to us this week. Lydia picked me some dandelions, of course. She looked so sweet looking up at me & was lucky enough to grab my phone to capture her beautiful little face just in time. I love how when she's outside she gets that pretty pink on her cheeks & lips that make her eyes even more blue. I even noticed she's getting a few sweet little freckles on her nose just like her big brother Evan. It's times like these I love to remember. One of those moments it strikes you that your child is the most beautiful thing in the world & how lucky you are to be a mother.

I can't wait to see what memories you'll scrapbook with this kit & hope it brings about great thoughts of childhood or your own mother, grandmother or children. We love just hanging out there & we are so lucky to have something we've worked so hard to have & love so very much. I really loved working with this kit. So much goodness in there. I also used my enamel dots on there too :)

iNSD p&co blog hop

check out some of these websites for some amazing eye candy. I'm not really that great at the tutorials that the rest of the girls are giving you, but I do pretty good at finding websites that are drool worthy if you're a design lover ;)

so, if you're into photography {or even if you're not} you have to check out the blog Seventy Tree. Makes me want to pull out my camera & create a composition in photo form of fun everyday stuff with my kids or just things around my house. a.maz.ing. really. makes me want to become a better photographer.

into project life with a side of fonts? I came across Design Editor a while back & love to see how different people aproach this project. I love her simple & clean approach. Makes me feel like I could really do it myself. She has some really kick arse font suggestions too. You know how designers love a good font...

& for a few great sites that combine inspiration for illustration, design, pattern, fonts & color? I could literally spend days on Super Swoon. It's just... swoon worthy. for real. just check it out, you'll see. I became aware of the print & pattern blog when I was taking an online pattern course about a year ago. I am obsessed with illustration & am always striving for more inspiration as I continue to build my style. So much goodness in one place.

featured designer week

hey everyone! sorry it's been so long! time's been flying by me way to quickly it seems. guess that's always the case, huh?

I used all the new kits on my layout to document my favorite things to do... it's one of my best days when I get the chance. Just hanging out at Target, hitting up the Starbucks there & browsing around all the eye candy, trying on clothes, getting ideas, dreaming. What's you're favorite thing to do if you get the chance to have some time by yourself?

I've been busy preparing some new things for the shop between doing some other projects & taking care of a sick kid over the weekend. Seems the stomach bug is jumping from kid to kid at school right now. We've been pretty much healthy all winter & it's suddenly hit us, as Lydia was sick about a week ago & Evan over the weekend. I'm going crazy with hand washing orders & spraying Lysol everywhere diligently. Praying that no one else gets it here. I'm supposed to be heading to Utah later this week to meet up with some of my Pixels & Co peeps, so I'm selfishly really hoping I don't get sick too!
